How does the trial work?

Download Halopen and use it free for 14 days. After that, choose Monthly or Annual to continue. Your trial is not gated — you can hold the hotkey for as many minutes as you want during it.

Can I switch plans?

Yes. Switch from Monthly to Annual in-app and you are credited the unused portion of the monthly charge. Switch from Annual to Monthly at the next renewal.

What happens if I cancel?

You keep Pro through the end of the period you paid for. After that, the app reverts to a trial-expired state and prompts you to resubscribe; nothing is deleted.

Educational or non-profit pricing?

If you are a student, an educator, or working at a registered non-profit, email hello@halopen.com from your institutional address. We will send a discount code.

Refunds?

If you have used Halopen for less than a week and it is not what you hoped for, email us and we will refund the most recent charge.
